A well-known Donegal plumber has “tapped” into a new TG4 series.

John Columb from Gortahork has gone and landed himself a spot the station’s new show ‘Na Builders.’

There are over 160,000 people employed in the construction industry in Ireland. These people build, renovate and reimagine our countryside and our towns.

‘Na Builders’ is original, home-grown series for TG4 that shines the spotlight on construction workers from across the country as they battle the elements – and occasionally each other – to get the job done.

The show will be spending time with builders of all shapes and sizes, in rural and urban settings; we’ll be looking at what they are building and who they are building for and getting a real sense of where we are in building Ireland these days

From bricklayers to electricians, plumbers to roofers, plasterers to carpenters these hard- working men and women are part of our everyday lives in Ireland. These are their stories.

In this second episode of Na Builders on 27th March, we meet John.

John provides Service Plumbing which includes working on bathrooms and renovations with grants from the Council.

He has a variety of jobs which brings an array of different clients & characters each time.
