A team of students from Loreto Community School, Milford, recently took part in Young Social Innovators’ 2025 Speak Out Tour when it visited the north west.

Young Social Innovators is a non-profit organisation that empowers young people to use their talents, insights, passion and creativity to come up with innovative solutions to social challenges.

The Loreto Community College students were one of 34 teams from Connaught and Ulster who presented projects at the event that they have developed on topical issues under the Young Social Innovators Activate programme in their secondary schools. Their project was based on farm safety.

The nationwide roadshow kicked off in Dublin in early-March before travelling to Sligo and Cork, and it will continue to Drogheda and Kilkenny this week and next.
