Gardaí are urging the driver of a red car involved in a collision last week in Falcarragh to come forward.

The incident occurred on the narrow L1013 local road at Ray, Falcarragh on Tuesday the 1st of April at approx. 8.40am.

A driver reported that he was travelling along that road from Falcarragh towards Dunfanaghy when a collision occurred between his car and an oncoming red car.

Damage was caused along the driver’s side of his car as a result.

“The driver of the other car did not remain at the scene,” said a garda statement.

“We appeal firstly to the other driver to make contact with Gardaí. We also appeal to other road users who may have been in the area with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to us. Gardaí in Milford may be contacted on 074-9153060 in relation to the matter.”
