Witnesses saught after aggravated burglary in Lifford

Gardaí are seeking witnesses after an aggravated burglary in Lifford which happened over the weekend.

The incident occurred at Cabhsa Cluain Lao, Lifford at approximately 10.30pm on Sunday the 13th of April.

The front window of a property was smashed by a man who then gained entry, however nothing was stolen from within.

No life-threatening injuries were sustained due to the incident also.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed a man on foot in the area around that time to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 91 67 100, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Any road users who may have travelled in that area of Lifford with a dash-cam between 10.15pm and 10.45pm on that evening have been asked to make the footage available to Gardaí.
