Man found dead in Killybegs home to be laid to rest this Sunday

The funeral of a man found dead at his home in Killybegs is to take place this Sunday.

Eddie Friel, who was in his 60s, was found dead at Harbour View Drive on Sunday last.

An investigation was launched into Mr Friel’s death and another local man has been arrested and charged in court in connection with the death.

The late Mr Friel’s funeral mass take place on Sunday at 2pm at St Mary of the Visitation Church in Killybegs with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

His funeral notice reads that Mr Friel was predeceased by his father Eddie, mother Mary Teresa, brother Hughie and sister Philomena.

He will be sadly missed by his brother Leo (Marie), sisters Frances, Ann Marie, Christina, Angela, Pauline (Reggie) and Rosanne (John Paddy), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
