Sean T Murphy won the Pat Cassidy Memorial at Buncrana Golf Club over the weekend.
There was a good turn out over the Bank Holiday weekend for popular Past Member Pat. Sadly the inclement weather conditions made things difficult over the weekend, but with the best of the weather on Sunday it was easy to see why most of the prize winners were Sunday golfers.
The top prize went to Past Captain of the Club Sean T Murphy who shot a tremendous 40pts on Sunday morning. Sean T (12) played magnificent steady golf throughout his round, returning 20pts totals for both 9s. With this welcome return to form Sean T will be looking forward to upcoming Majors within the club and will have an eye the annual inter-Club Team competitions.
Another golfer making a welcome return to form was Damien Doherty. Damien (5) won the Category 1/Gross prize with a excellent return of 36pts (71 gross). The Category 3 prize went to the up and coming Kieran Grant with a excellent return of 39pts.

Membership Renewal
Annual membership fees will have to be paid in full on or before the Wednesday 30th April 2025 and this includes members paying by instalments, without any exceptions. The payment by instalments facility is meant for members who wish to start paying months before the membership deadline and not the week before. The committee will be strict this year, as Golf Ireland will be charging their 2026 fees based on any members still on the clubs database for May 2025.
