The Inish Theatre Group are getting on song as they are forming a new community choir!

It is an exciting new initiative, developed by Maureen Loughrey Tolley and Adrian Mc Myler who are both key figures within the Inish Theatre Group.

They saw an opportunity to fill a gap for a choir that focused not just on vocals, but on connection, fun, and community spirit.

This feel-good, high-energy choir welcomes members of all ages and abilities and is anything but traditional. With a diverse mix of Gospel, Soul, Pop, Irish, Country, and Musical Theatre, the choir promises a modern, inclusive, and uplifting space for everyone – whether you’re a shower singer or a seasoned stage performer.

“This isn’t about being pitch-perfect – it’s about feeling good, meeting people, and doing something you love,” Maureen said.

“Music has a special way of bringing people together, and we wanted to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and inspired,” Adrian added.

They will be joined by Brian Mc Devitt, who brings his wealth of experience as a music director and choir leader to the group. Brian has been instrumental in helping set up and form choirs in the past, and his passion for music and community shines through in everything he does.

What to expect from the Inish Choir:
• No auditions or experience necessary
• Open to all ages and backgrounds
• A fun, friendly, and modern atmosphere
• Opportunities to perform in local events and shows
• A strong focus on positivity, creativity, and community

Rehearsals will begin soon, and interest has already been high. Anyone who enjoys singing and wants to be part of something special is encouraged to register their interest today.
