Three Donegal hotels have been ranked amongst the top 1% in Ireland’s hotels following a poll by Tripadviser.

There are a total 1664 hotels across Ireland.

And Donegal is lucky to have three of those hotels ranked amongst the best.

The trio include Harvey’s Point, which ranked at number 3, the Shandon Hotel and Spa, which ranked at number 17 and the Mill Park Hotel, which ranked at number 23.

The hotels were rated as Best of the Best Hotels in Ireland by Tripadvisor.

Harvey’s Point Hotel

Director and General Manager of the Shandon, Carolynne Murray, said she was delighted that the hotel had featured so prominently in Ireland’s top hotel.

She said “We are blessed here at the Shandon with our breathtaking location, on an elevated site, overlooking Marble Hill Beach, Sheephaven Bay and right out to the ocean with the majority of our luxury spa facilities, separate leisure centre, bars, restaurant and rooms enjoying the most beautiful view.

“However, the key to ranking in the top 1% in the country is all down to my team, they are proud to work here, happy in their roles and that positive vibe is translated in the hospitality they provide to our guests.

“I’m delighted to see three Donegal hotels feature in the top 1% of the best of the best according to Tripadvisor.”
