Get ready because Fleadh Cheoil Dhún na nGall is back in Dungloe this May 2025, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend of music, magic, and community spirit!
Altan, one of Ireland’s most loved traditional bands, will be taking the stage on Thursday, May 8th at Ionad Spóirt na Rosann, joined by some very special guests, incredibly talented young musicians of Draíocht Na hÓige Youth Orchestra. These rising stars come from all across Donegal, and they’ll be performing alongside Altan in what promises to be an event not to be missed !
But that’s not all…
On Sunday, May 11th, something historic is happening in dungloe as they introduce, “Idir an Dá Ghaoth”, Ireland’s first ever Fife Orchestra. Musicians from fife bands all around the Rosses have come together for this unique performance, with original music composed and conducted by none other than Dr. Martin Tourish.
