Donegal legend, Michael Murphy, has been shortlisted for the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week award.
Another thrilling Ulster SFC Final at St Tiernach’s Park brought entertainment with the decorated 35-year-old influential for Donegal.
The Glenswilly clubman made a welcome return to senior inter-county football in 2025, demonstrating his class once again in Clones on Saturday against Armagh.
The veteran talisman earned the Man of the Match award as Donegal edged out the reigning All-Ireland champions by a 2-23 to 0-28 scoreline, weighing in with three points in an all-action display.
He is shortlisted alongside Sam Mulroy (Louth) and Westmeath’s Luke Loughlin.
