A charity golf day in memory of the much-loved Mary Rose (Mosie) Dullaghan will take place at Letterkenny Golf Club this Friday, 16th May 2025, followed by a social evening at the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny, at 9pm.

All are welcome to join friends and family in the Station House to remember a special lady.

Mary Rose, a well-known and cherished member of the Glenswilly community, sadly passed away last August after a courageous battle with illness.

Throughout her journey, she and her family received immense support from a number of individuals and organisations.

In her honour, the Station House Golf Society has organised this special event to give back to three charities that provided vital care and assistance during her illness.

Mary Rose was a proud member—and former Lady Captain—of the Station House Golf Society, previously known as the Drum Bar Golf Society.

The three benefiting charities are:

  • The Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital
  • The Ross Nugent Foundation
  • The Friends of St. Luke’s

Mary Rose received treatment locally at Letterkenny University Hospital, as well as in Beaumont Hospital (supported by the Ross Nugent Foundation) and St. Luke’s Hospital.

There are several ways to support this fundraiser:

  1. Play a round of golf – Book your tee time through Letterkenny Golf Club by calling 074 91 21150 or visiting www.letterkennygolfclub.com.
  2. Attend the social evening – Join friends and family at 9pm on Friday in the Station House Hotel. The evening will include a prize-giving ceremony from the golf event and a raffle featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses.

For updates and further details, visit the Mary Rose Dullaghan Charity Golf Facebook page: Mary Rose Dullaghan Charity Golf | Letterkenny | Facebook, or the iDonate fundraising page: www.idonate.ie/MaryRoseCharityGolf.

Mary Rose’s family and friends would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the fundraiser so far—through sponsorships, donations, and raffle tickets. Please join us for a round of golf or the social evening to remember a truly special woman and to support these worthy causes.
