Man kicked in head during Letterkenny assault

A man was kicked in the head during a serious assault on Lower Main Street, Letterkenny, yesterday evening.

Gardaí are investigating the incident which took place at around 8:20 pm. Two men were fighting and one of them was kicked on the head by the other while he was on the ground.

The injuries sustained were non-life-threatening, however, Garda Niall Maguire has described the incident as ‘serious’.
