A Killygordon family’s guest tea has raised a fantastic €2,500 for Féileacáin, a charity dedicated to supporting parents affected by stillbirth and neonatal death.

The event was held by Sebrena and Simon White in their home in memory of their baby boy Bailey, who was sadly stillborn on 18th April 2007.

This year would have marked Bailey’s 18th birthday, a milestone his parents were unable to celebrate in the traditional way. Instead, Sebrena, with the support of Simon and their children Maddison and Riley, chose to honour Bailey’s memory by hosting a tea party. Friends, family and neighbours gathered to remember Angel Bailey on what would have been the start of his adult life.

Sebrena’s experience of grieving her baby gave her a determination to raise funds for Féileacáin, ensuring that other parents facing the unimaginable loss of a baby receive the care and support they need.
