The committee behind the Lifford Together Festival has donated €330 to the Lough Swilly Tragedy fund to support the families of Emmanuel Familola (16) and Matt Sibanda (18), who both lost their lives in the water at Buncrana on 10th May.

The donation arose as festival organisers recently concluded their fundraising efforts from the May 2024 event, which raised €2,500 for the RNLI Lough Swilly station.

Paddy Glackin, on behalf of the Lifford Together committee, visited The Exchange premises in Buncrana on Monday to present the remainder of the funds.
