Talented Gaoth Dobhair singer/songwriter HannahB will be appearing on a new RTÉ series this month as cameras follow her preparing for her breakout gig.

Hannah McFadden, (stage name HannahB) will be the second young star to appear on An Ghig Mhór on RTE One on Monday 16th June at 8pm.

The programme features up-and-coming artists organising their first major gigs, shining a light on all the hard work, creativity and dedication that goes into the process.

For the show, HannahB was mentored by fellow Gaoth Dobhair artist Eve Belle Murtagh as she prepared for her gig at The Social in May last year.

Flanked by her Pobalscoil Chloich Cheannfhaola bandmates Ciaran and Cahir Doyle, Darren O’Halloran, and Kyle Warner, Hannah’s first gig was a huge success, drawing busloads of gig-goers from all corners of the region.

The 21-year-old is now studying musical performance at Queen’s University Belfast.

Hannah’s new single Broken Way is out on 10th June. Find links to her pages here: linktr.ee/hannahbmusic
