Uisce Éireann has been asked to do a makeover on two pumphouse buildings at Lough Salt.
The structures are said to be a blight on the scenic lake drive and in desperate need of a “lick of paint.”
Local Councillor Declan Meehan has been looking into who is responsible for the pumphouses. He told the council this week that the buildings are “in terrible shape, particularly in such a beautiful setting.”
Donegal County Council has now passed on these concerns to Uisce Éireann.
“A tidy up with a lick of paint would make a big difference,” said Cllr Meehan.
