Donegal’s All-Ireland Championship Preliminary Quarter-Final clash with Louth has been fixed for next Sunday.
The game will throw-in at 4pm in MacCumhaill Park and will be broadcast live on GAA+.
The draw was made live this morning on RTÉ Radio 1.
Louth are in flying form and won this year’s Leinster Championship.
Ciaran Moore’s last gasp wonder-point yesterday ensured Donegal finished second in their group, a score which also eliminated Mayo from the All-Ireland.
As the second place team in their group, Jim McGuinness’ team has home advantage.
Donegal could only have been drawn against Galway, Cork or Louth as they could not have faced Cavan having already met them in the group stages.
It will be a ‘do or die’ game for Donegal after a season which has seen them come through some very testing games to date.
The scramble for tickets for the game begins now as there is set to be a huge demand for the tie.
The full preliminary quarter-final pairings are:
Donegal vs Louth
Down vs Galway
Dublin vs Cork
Kerry vs Cavan
