Woman in Buncrana collision still in hospital with serious injuries

A woman injured in a crash in Buncrana last week remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision which involved a vehicle and two pedestrians at Main Street, Buncrana on Tuesday the 10th of June shortly after 11.50am.

The driver and the male and female pedestrian were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment.

The driver and male pedestrian did not suffer any life threatening injuries.

The female pedestrian remains in hospital. She suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A Garda spokesperson said “If anyone witnessed the collision, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. If anyone travelled in that area with a dash-cam on that date (June 10th) between 11.45am and Midday, we ask them to please make the footage available to us.”
