There will be long spells of summer sunshine developing this morning across Ulster, with top temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees during the day.
It will also be very mild and close tonight. While most areas will remain dry, localised heavy thundery showers may occur. Temperatures will not fall below 13 to 15 degrees, in light to moderate southeasterly breezes.
Tomorrow will be even warmer and humid with top temperatures of 24 to 28 degrees. However, showers may break out locally.
The hot weather is to continue into Saturday, with temperatures lowering to around 20 degrees on Sunday with a risk of showers.
Met Éireann has said similar conditions will likely prevail early next week.
