The volunteer Bundoran RNLI has issued a water safety appeal as temperature will soar over the coming days.
Thousands of people will flock to Donegal’s beaches and lakes.
The Bundoran RNLI is urging the public to stay safe, choose a lifeguarded beach and always swim between the red and yellow flags.
“If you get into difficulty in the water, remember: #FloatToLive. This simple skill can save your life,” they said.
“Check your equipment before heading out to sea and take a means of calling for help in case you get into difficulty.”
In an emergency, call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard.
