Two drivers were arrested today after testing positive for cocaine in Letterkenny.
Gardaí from Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit arrested the two drivers at one of their checkpoints at lunchtime today on the outskirts of Letterkenny town on suspicion of drug driving.
Both drivers tested positive for cocaine.
A Garda spokesperson said “Driving while under the influence of drugs is highly dangerous. Do not risk your own life and the lives of others by making such poor decisions. Never drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
