New term begins this September at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey

As September approaches, many people begin to consider personal development, career changes, or new opportunities. Whether it’s returning to study, pursuing a long-held interest, or developing a completely new skill, autumn is a time for fresh starts. For those in Donegal and the surrounding area, the opportunity to train professionally in one of the most sought-after complementary therapies is now available.

The Irish School of Reflexology is launching a new term of its Practitioner’s Diploma in Traditional Foot Reflexology on the 13th and 14th of September 2025, hosted at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey. This is a part-time course, running one weekend per month from September to August. Enrolment is now open at www.isrw.ie

This part-time course is designed for people from all walks of life—whether you’re interested in holistic health, seeking a more fulfilling career, or looking to complement existing qualifications in healthcare or wellness. The course requires attendance for just one weekend per month, making it accessible for those with work or family commitments. No previous experience is necessary.

Recent graduates of the Irish School of Reflexology

According to Tatiana Grosso Lawless, Principal of the Irish School of Reflexology: “We want our students to feel confident in their ability to help others. By the end of the diploma, they’ll have the practical skills, understanding, and confidence to support clients with a wide range of conditions—from digestive issues and fertility challenges to stress and chronic pain.”

The course is fully accredited by the National Register of Reflexologists Ireland (NRRI), and upon completion, graduates will receive a recognised diploma that enables them to register professionally and gain insurance provider recognition from VHI, Laya Healthcare, and Aviva. Many go on to open their own practices, while others work in healthcare settings, wellness clinics, spas, or hospices.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses pressure points on the feet to stimulate the body’s own healing response. Students are trained in the original Eunice Ingham method, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning.

The syllabus includes:

  • Core reflexology skills and advanced techniques
  • Maternity and infertility reflexology
  • An introduction to hand reflexology
  • Anatomy & physiology
  • Client care and communication
  • How to set up and grow a successful practice

Tatiana adds: “The demand for holistic therapies is growing. People are becoming more conscious of how emotional, mental, and physical health are connected—and reflexology supports this balance beautifully. Our students not only gain professional qualifications, but they also often describe the year as life-changing.”

With a strong emphasis on individual support, small class sizes, and expert instruction, the Irish School of Reflexology provides a nurturing and empowering learning environment. The school is proud of the strong clinical foundation it gives its students, allowing them to step confidently into a new career helping others.

If you’re looking for a fresh start this autumn—one that could lead to a meaningful, flexible, and rewarding profession—this could be your opportunity.

The new term begins on the 13th and 14th of September 2025 at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey. Enrolment is now open at www.irishschoolofreflexology.com

@irishschoolofreflexology When we’re stressed, the body shifts into fight-or-flight mode, releasing hormones that have a widespread impact. This response diverts essential blood flow and energy away from systems like digestion—systems the body deems non-essential in times of perceived danger. One of the most effective ways to counteract this stress response is through relaxation. Reflexology promotes deep relaxation, improves circulation, and enhances internal communication within the body, allowing it to heal and return to balance. Though the principles of reflexology are straightforward, its impact can be truly remarkable — something I’ve witnessed many times. Reflexology is a safe, simple, and highly effective complementary therapy that supports overall well-being. It’s based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs and areas of the body. Reflexology continues to be one of the most powerful tools for helping the body restore itself naturally. Join us this September for the Practitioner’s Diploma in Traditional Foot Reflexology, starting on the 13th and 14th at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey. #ReflexologyTraining #TraditionalReflexology #ReflexologyDiploma #HolisticTherapies #ReflexologyIreland ♬ original sound – ISRW
