Finn Valley Predators vs Mulroy (Mulroy Win)
A 5 star second half display from Zara Friel confirmed a convincing victory for Mulroy against Finn Valley Predators. The first half was evenly matched with chances at a premium. Zara Walshe went closest for the visitors and Finn Valley’s Amelia Farrell forced Grainne McLaughlin into a good save. Amber Hewett broke the deadlock midway through the half after shaking her marker to finish from close range. Zara Friel extended the lead straight after the break after springing the offside trap and slotting into the bottom corner. Friel got a second moments later when her shot squeezed in after initially hitting the post. She completed her hat trick on 42 minutes with another neat finish. Friel wasn’t finished yet though and capped off a fine individual display with two more goals from close range. Credit must go to the Predators for sticking to their task and Bella Mae Byrne almost pulled 1 back at the end bringing a good save from McLaughlin. Thanks to Mulroy players and management for a good sporting game and we look forward to meeting them again later in the season.

Milford United 0-2 Illistrin As
A lovely night for football with both teams showing some good football and creating chances at both ends, Illistrin took the lead on 21 minutes. The second half started the same, with both teams creating chances. Illistrin made it 2-0 in the 44th minute, but Milford kept going right to the end, with the best chances falling to excellent Aoife Comiskey, who was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet. Well done to Illistrin, and well done to the Milford girls, who were unlucky in a game that could have gone either way

Drumbar United vs Dunfanaghy Youths (Dunfanaghy Win)
Dunfanaghy Youth made the long trip to Drumbar for league action and started the brighter of the two sides. They took an early lead in the 6th minute through Isabella Galbraith, setting the tone for the evening.
As the game progressed, Drumbar began to grow into the contest, with Aoife Gallagher, Ella Dorrian, and Kadi Doherty all posing questions to the Dunfanaghy defence. However, the visitors doubled their advantage before the break, with Clara Ward-Duffy finishing well to make it 2-0.
Drumbar came out with renewed energy in the second half, pushing to get back into the game, but the Dunfanaghy defence stood firm and refused to yield.
Midway through the second half, Ward-Duffy struck twice in quick succession to complete her hat trick, putting the result beyond doubt. Fiadh McGinley added a fifth before Ward-Duffy rounded off the scoring, sealing an impressive individual and team performance.
Credit to the Drumbar girls, who battled bravely despite missing a number of players. Their resilience and effort were clear to see throughout the match.
Well done to Dunfanaghy Youth on a dominant display, and hard luck to Drumbar United plenty of positives to build on for the games ahead.
Cappry Rovers As 1-0 Keadue Rovers
Cappry started the brighter of the two sides, with Klara Lafferty hitting the post and Fia McNulty going close twice. Alison was lively throughout, creating several chances, but it remained scoreless at the break.
In the second half, Cappry continued to press and got their reward when Crona played a perfectly timed through ball to Alison, who finished brilliantly to put Cappry in front. The girls pushed hard for a second, but the game finished 1-0 after a strong team performance.
Thanks to Keadue for a great game and for accommodating a fixture change to suit our coaches working away during the week.

Letterkenny Rovers 3-1 Convoy Arsenal
Letterkenny Rovers got off to a flying start, taking the lead just six minutes in when Aoibhe Gibson found the back of the net after a superb solo run. They doubled their advantage on 16 minutes following excellent work from Lydia McLaughlin, whose quick thinking set up Aoibhe for her second goal of the night, a smart finish into the bottom corner.
Both teams continued to create chances, with both goalkeepers staying sharp and rising to the challenge. Just before halftime, Convoy Arsenal got the goal they deserved thanks to a stunning long-range strike from Scarlett Barnett, bringing the score to 2–1 at the break.
The second half saw both sides determined to play attacking football, with strong defending keeping the score unchanged for much of the half. However, Rovers extended their lead late on when Nino Imnadze made a brilliant run to the byline and delivered a pinpoint cross to Lydia McLaughlin, who calmly slotted the ball home to make it 3–1.
The game continued with chances at both ends, and all the girls deserve huge credit for their effort, skill, and commitment throughout. A well-fought contest, well done to everyone involved!
Cappry Rovers Bs vs Bonagee United (Bonagee Win)
Cappry Rovers travelled to Bonagee on a glorious Tuesday evening.
Bonagee started brightly with Sadie Harvey getting 2 quick goals, Gráinne Kelly and Abbie Clarke added further goals before half time.
In the second half, Cappry came out and forced Amelia Gallagher into some lovely saves. Gráinne Kelly then got one just 3 minutes after the restart, and then Kelly got her hat trick 5 minutes later. Millie O’Donovan got 2 goals to round off the scoring.
Abaigh Quigley and Jamie-Leigh Gallagher showed well for Cappry, where Ava Price and Ellie Doherty stood out for Bonagee in midfield.

Ballyraine 2-1 Kildrum Tigers
St Catherines 3-2 Kilmacrennan Celtic
St Catherines u12s 3-2 win vs Kilmacrean this evening. Kilmacrennan went up 2-0 after 10 minutes, and St Catherines got back into the game when Cassi McFettters got on the ball after a cross from Shuana McCole and shot past the Kilmacrennan keeper. The game was going end to end with both keepers and defences standing firm, 2-1 at half time.
Kilmacrennan came flying out of the blocks at the start of the second half, with St Catherine’s keeper Sabdh Daly making some great saves. St Catherines got back on level terms with
Sophie Sweeny, who latched on to a through ball from Cassi McFettters and shot past the Kilmacrean keeper, with the game going down to the last few minutes. Great play on the left, when Kendra McHugh and Sophie McGuinness played a ball to Shuana McCole, who passed to Sophie Sweeny, who got her second goal to make it 3-2 to St Catherines and win the game, thanks to Kilmacrennan for the great sporting game played in a great spirit, referee. Donegal Town 0-0 Gweedore Celtic
Letterbarrow Celtic 1-3 Gweedore United
Gweedore United made the long trip to Letterbarrow this evening in glorious weather. The first half was shaded by Gweedore following a quick breakaway goal. In the second half, Letterbarrow equalised following a deflection from a corner.
Gweedore retook the lead with a scorcher of a free kick, soon followed by a well-taken corner that made its way into the goal.
In the last 10 minutes, Letterbarrow worked really hard to get back in the game and were unlucky with a number of chances.

Gweedore United vs Glenree
Gweedore United started their league campaign in style with a 4-1 win over Glenree United on a wet evening at Pobalscoil Gaoth Dobhair.
The home side got off to the perfect start when Lucie Boyd did brilliantly down the left wing, beating her marker before cutting inside and firing a shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Both teams displayed excellent football for the remainder of the half. Gweedore keeper Sheena Ferry made fine saves to deny Tara Coyle and Ella Grace McGettigan, while
Glenree’s Hannah McClafferty was equally impressive, saving well from Ciara McFadden and Neasa Diver.
Glenree found an equaliser in the 27th minute. After being awarded a free kick on the left, Lea Boyce found herself unmarked in the box and finished smartly past Ferry to level the game at 1-1 going into the break.
In the second half, Gweedore took control and scored three goals in a six-minute blitz. In the 41st minute, Ciara McFadden played a perfectly weighted pass to Chloe McFadden, who used her pace to beat the defender and finished clinically from the edge of the box to make it 2-1.
Just minutes later, Ciara McFadden got on the scoresheet herself, curling a superb strike into the top corner from 25 yards out. Gweedore’s momentum continued and they added a fourth almost immediately. Neasa Diver played a precise through ball to Lucie Boyd, who made no mistake in a one-on-one with the keeper, grabbing her second of the game. Glenree created several chances in the closing stages, with Tara Coyle, Leah Boyce, and Emily Boyce all going close, but Ferry was equal to every effort.
It was an excellent team performance from both sides, with standout displays from Tara Coyle for Glenree and Chloe McFadden for Gweedore. Despite the difficult conditions, both teams contributed to an entertaining and sporting match.

Division 1
Raphoe Town vs Glenree
Glenree made the long trip to Drumineny on Wednesday evening for a competitive game played in ideal conditions.
The home side where fast out of the blocks with Bethany Goudie and Eva Hay both threatening in the first 10mins. The Raphoe Girls pressure was rewarded with the opening goal when the hard working Masie McGonagle creating a chance from nothing and poking home to the delight of the home crowd.
Glenree battled hard but Molly Tinney and Clodagh Gallagher where on top in the midfield. In a spell of Glenree pressure just before half time the Raphoe defenders Ciara mcCrory, Aoife Hirrell, KatienO Connell and Aoife Galbraith had to have full concentration to keep the visitors scoreless.
5 mins before the halftime whistle Evana Roulstone extended Raphoe lead when she fired low into the bottom corner to make it two.
In the second half Farah Brolly and Emily Donnelly both went close to making it 3. Special mention for 2 stand -in keepers Emily and Katie who ensured a clean sheet.
