The search is underway for four cattle reported stolen from the Galdonagh area of Manorcunningham.

The livestock disappeared overnight between 6pm on Monday the 16th of June and 9am on Tuesday the 17th of June.

They were a red/white shorthorn bullock, a black shorthorn heifer, a black Aberdeen Angus heifer and a black Hereford Cross heifer.

Gardaí have issued an appeal to anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in that area between those dates or to anyone with relevant information to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

“Should anyone come across similar cattle for sale, we ask them to make contact with us also so we can check the matter out,” a garda spokesperson said.
