Finn Harps will hold a special online meeting this weekend to ask their members to vote on an application for a liquor licence for the Ballybofey ground.

The meeting will take place on Sunday, July 6, at 8pm.

“At the meeting, we will be voting on an amendment to the club’s rules in relation to a liquor licence that the club has applied for, having received sponsorship of a new, fully-fitted container (main pic), by league sponsor Rockshore,” a club spokesperson said.

The new rules will relate to the operational running of the bar and the opening hours, location and perimeter of the drinking area, that drink may only be consumed within the designated area and the rules around members and guests.

Volunteers

Meanwhile, the club is inviting applications for the roles of Club Secretary and Treasurer.

Applicants for the position of secretary will ideally have a background in administration. Experience of working with governance and regulations is preferable but not compulsory.

Applicants for the position of treasurer must be a qualified accountant.
Both secretary and treasurer positions will be supported by office staff.

Applicants should send their CV and any covering letter or additional information to secretary@finnharps.ie
