Both Senior and Reserve teams were also in action over Sunday afternoon last, first up was the reserves in what turned out to be an easy run out for the lads.
Playing a weak Moville side they notched up a score of 5-17 to 1-9. Its also worth noting that was Ardian Nesbitt’s second hat-trick in as many games, a formidable feta to say the least. The Senior side, still missing a number of vital starters, lined out against Moville in a must win game after losing three games on the trout. At half time Moville had a convincing five point lead but the boys never gave up and fought hard until the end, which very much so prevailed as they took the two points on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-14.
