Thousands of Orange Order members have taken part in their annual parade in Rossnowlagh today.
They have made their way to the beach in the village – but only a few hardy souls dared to dip their feet in the water on a cloud and often wet day in the county,
Lodges from here in Donegal have been joined by members from Cavan, Leitrim, Monaghan, the North and Canada.
The demonstration made its way along a one-mile route starting just outside the village, before a religious service in a field.
Grand Master Edward Stevenson said: “Rossnowlagh has always been an excellent parade.
“We have had good relationships over the years with local folks.
“There has never been any problems the last 35 years we have been parading on a year after year basis and nowhere could you go for a more idyllic setting for a 12th July demonstration, you have the Donegal Hills on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other.”
