One of Donegal’s most dangerous roadsides is to finally get an overhaul.
Works is now to start on the building of a new footpath from the outskirts of Letterkenny to Conwal Graveyard.
The stretch of roadside is used by walkers and runners as well as people visiting loved ones in the graveyard.
County councillor James Pat McDaid has said the works are now expected to begin at the end of February and will be completed by the end of May.
He said “This footpath will be fully lit up with lights, it will be a great asset and improve the safety to this local area and everyone walking or running along the road.”
