Under 8s training continues at 11 on Saturdays. The under 10s hosted a blitz in the banks on Saturday last with GaothDobhair, St.Michaels and St.Eunans visiting the banks. Thanks to the teams for travelling. Under 10 training continues on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 6pm.

The under 13 game against Killybegs was postponed. The next game is at home to Ardara on Saturday morning.

Well done to the under 16 girls who reached the Division 1 county championship final with a great win over Four Masters. The girls now play Moville this Friday evening 16th in Milford in the final with a 6:15 throw in. All support appreciated. This is a great achievement and much praise goes to Donald, Robbie and Brid and all the team on their achievements to date. The

The Seniors lost to Newtown in the play off game in the Intermediate Championship last weekend. There is no game scheduled for this weekend with the focus back on the league and the push for promotion. The Reserves made the long journey to Carndonagh on Saturday evening in the Reserve Championship and while they lost out by seven points there is good confidence for the return leg in the Banks in a few weeks.

The next club development plan session is scheduled for Friday 23rd September and will be chaired by Gary Boyle. Anyone who has not yet attended a previous session is encouraged to come along and provide input towards the direction of the club. It is an informal session where discussion and thoughts are the order of the day. Please visit the Club Development Plan under the Home section of the website for more details.

The Ladies are running a recycling drive in association with bag2club. If you have any unwanted clothing, cuddly toys, bed clothes, shoes, belts, hats or bags – drop them into a bag and drop them off at the club house during training hours or call a ladies committee member to arrange collection. Final date for bags is September 30th.

The club are organising a fundraiser with a difference during October and November which should be good craic also. 20 homes will host a Come Dine With Me night by inviting friends and family to join them for a night of great food. All guests will meet up in Dannie Minnies that night where the night’s winners will be announced. Please see

facebook and website for further details.

Lotto details for week 7th September; jackpot 2540 euro. No jackpot winner. There was one match 3 winner – Kathleen Anne Gallagher – Lower Loughanure. Numbers were 16-18-22-24.
