AN American tourist unhappy with her B&B during a holiday in Co Donegal has taken out her revenge – on YouTube.
The tourist – who doesn’t name the accommodation – took a video of an on-the-blink TV and then goes on to slate the room.
She also complained that her shower was blocked.
She slated the TV reception and then described her room as “dismal” though she admitted the bed was “fairly comfortable…surprising.”
“This is what you get for €60…America…spend the money,” she added.
Internet videos like this one can prove costly for our tourist industry – when so many excellent B&Bs are available in the county.
One tourist board insider admitted today: “This sort of thing can be very costly and we would love to know where this was taken to see if was tourist board approved.
“So many tourists use the internet these days to book holidays and this sort of publicity won’t help Donegal.”
