Congratulations to Liam Duffy and Conor McNulty who were both part of the GMIT team that won the All-Ireland Freshers B Final on thursday last. This is a wonderful achievement for the two lads who lined out for both the minors and reserves throughout the season.

The is a Race Night on Friday 9th December in McGoldricks in aid of the N. Brid/Pettigo ladies team. This promises to be a good nights craic and everyone is welcome to attend on the night.

The club expresses its deepest sympathy’s to Paul Gallagher and family Laghey on the recent death of his wife in America. Paul was a member of the senior team that won the junior and intermediate championships in 1986 and 1987 respectively. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam.

The club are holding a “1986 Night” on the 30th December as a memory and get together for all those involved in the championship winning team of that year. There will be a half 7 mass for all deceased club members of the past in St.Brigids church Ballintra beforehand. Everyone is welcome to attend on the night and it promises to be a great nights craic with plenty of old tales to be told I’m sure. More information regarding the night will be given closer to the event.
