NEW ROADS ALERT AS BLACK ICE CAUSES CHAOS

written by admin December 10, 2011

GARDAI and AA Ireland are warning motorists to take care on the road again today after black ice caused a number of minor accidents this morning.

The roads around Raphoe, Stranorlar, St Johnston and several other areas were treacherous.

A car left the road near Whitecross and the roads to Lifford and in around Castlefin are poor.

The main road from Moville to Derry was “like a bottle” when one donegaldaily reader travelled along it at 10.30pm last night. Other readers also complained.

A man had died in a crash on the same road six hours earlier.

If you experience any difficulties on the roads today email us on info@donegaldaily.com.
