A NOVEL IDEA INSPIRED BY A CHRISTMAS ‘CAROL’!

written by Stephen Maguire December 13, 2011

Donegal woman Carol Fitzgerald was surrounded by family and friends when she published her novel ‘Sometimes It Just Happens’ in Letterkenny.

The novel, which Carol assures us is not autobiographical, is a real page-turner.

However those who have jumped into the world of Claire Kennedy have assured us it they can’t put it down.

So why does life challenge us in a way we least expect?

For Claire Kennedy, life was full of surprises – some good, some not so good.

Married at an early age to James, a top surgeon and the love of her life, she experienced all the trappings that came with his success. She realised she was lucky. She had everything: a fabulous husband, two beautiful children and the brightest of futures.

And then it happened; an event so sudden, so horrific, so cruel. It left her battling to regain control of her life.

Her previously charmed existence offers no tools to help her survive the years that lie ahead. How can she live with such terrible loss? Why should she accept that Sometimes It Just Happens

An ideal Christmas stocking filler while supporting one of our own?
