Lotto & 100+ Club
There was one winner of this weeks Lotto draw. The winner was Bernadette Ward and she receives €50. Next weeks jackpot is €700. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 4th February – Samuel Patterson, 11th February – Liam Kelly, 18th February – Paul Bradley and 25th February – Kieran Bradley.
Names are still being taken for the 100+ Club for the coming year. New members are welcome to join. Weekly cash prizes and entry into our end of season draw are just some of the incentives for 100+ Club members. Please contact any executive member should you wish to join up.
Minor Board
Circuit training for the U16 boys takes place this week in the clubhouse at 6.00pm on Friday and on training pitch on Sunday at 12.30pm. All players should attend. Remaining managerial positions have now been filled: U12 Boys: Lyndon Gillespie, Tony Gallagher; U12 Girls: Maura McCrudden and U16 Girls Charlie Doherty, Marie McColgan. Best of luck to all in the year ahead. Underage registration takes place at the clubhouse on Friday the 17th February from 6.30 to 8.00pm. This is for all underage boys and girls from U18 down to U6. Registration costs €10 per child or a maximum of €20 for a family (2 or more children).
Club Meeting
The next club meeting takes place at the clubhouse this Friday the 3rd of February at 8.30pm. All are asked to attend this meeting.
Night at the Races
The re-scheduled Night at the Races takes place this Saturday night the 4th of February in The Lantern Inn starting at 9.00pm. All are welcome to come along for a good night.
Adult Membership
Membership for 2012 is now due. Adult membership costs €30 per person and there is a special concession rate of €50 for an adult and their partner/husband/wife. All players must pay their membership before any games commence. Membership can be paid to club Registrar Denis McGill who can be contacted on (086) 3194326.
Referee Beginner Course
A referees beginner course is being held in Jackson Hotel this Saturday the 4th of February starting at 9.30am. This is still open and anyone interested in taking part should get in touch with Patricia Kelly on (086) 1716171 .
Strictly Come Dancing
The club will be running a Strictly Come Dancing competition in the coming months. Training will get underway for this in the next few weeks. 16 people or 8 couples are required to get involved.
