GAA: ST EUNAN’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Club Notes – Naomh Adhamhnáin 30.01.12

 

The AGM was held in the Clubhouse on Sunday and the following Officer Board was elected for 2012; Chairperson: Paul Carr; Vice-Chair: Cathal Greene; Secretary: Charlie McAteer; Asst. Secretary: Alma Kavanagh; Treasurer: TBC; Asst Treasurer: Elaina Gallagher; Registrar: Anne Forde; PRO: Paul McGovern; Oifigeach na Gaeilge: Fergus McGee; Senior Team Management: Eamon O’Boyle, Michael McGeehin & Brendan Devenney; Senior Reserve Manager: Noel Keaveny; Junior Manager: TBC; Hurling Officer: Paddy Flood; Exec Members: Peter Curran, Vincent McGlynn, Brian Kelly; Coaching Officer: Jim Clarke; U-21 Management: Micheál Ó Giobúin & John Coleman;  Vice President: Sean Boyle; President: Gabriel Flood.

The new Executive will have their first meeting this Thursday night (Feb. 2nd) in the Clubhouse at 7:30pm.

This Friday evening (Feb. 3rd), the club have a team taking part in Family Fortunes in Arena 7 at 10pm. Please come out and support the Carr / Flood / O’Donnell family and enjoy a good night’s craic.

Anyone interested in helping out with Strictly Come Dancing can come to  a meeting in the Clubhouse this Thursday (Feb. 2nd) at 6:30pm. The big night is on Friday, March 9th in the Mt. Errigal Hotel.

Hurling training for U10’s in the Aura each Wednesday  and the LYIT this week. The U12 Camogie training also in the Aura 7-8pm. The Hurling/Camogie Academies run each Friday.  The U15 Camogie blitz will be held on the 11th February 11am -1pm in the LYIT sports hall. All available players to contact Gavin Craig to confirm.

We would like to extend our sympathies to the Crossan family, Coolboy and the Barron family on their recent bereavements.

There were 5 winners in this week’s Lotto Draw that each matched 3 numbers and win €20 each. The numbers drawn were: 3-15-19-22. Valerie Bryce, Errigal View; Gerry McMonagle, Sliabh Sneacht (both Adrian); Sharon Ferguson, The Grange; Christy Gillespie, Curraghleas; Mary Sweeney, Carrygawley (all card).
