DONEGAL SEEKING 13 BLUE FLAG BEACHES FOR 2012

LOCAL authorities are seeking Blue Flag status for 13 beaches this year.

Donegal County Council made applications for beaches at Culdaff, Shroove, Lisfannon, Magherawarden (Portsalon), Marblehill, Killahoey, Downings, Carrickfinn, Narin, Fintra, Murvagh and Rossnowlagh.

Bundoran Town Council has applied for Blue Flag status for Bundoran Beach.
