PINTS WARNED EUROVISION WINNER CHARLIE HE HAD A PROSTATE PROBLEM

Donegal singer Charlie McGettigan realised he had a serious illness when he couldn’t drink pints anymore.

Charlie, who won the Eurovision Song Contest with Rock n Roll Kids in 1994, spoke about his prostate problem.

“Thankfully it was a benign prostate problem but ….I suddenly found I wasn’t able to drink pints anymore.

“As son as I hit the bed I was up again maybe five or six times a night.”

H said he is now fine after having surgery to fix his “plumbing.”
