LETTERKENNY ROVERS NOTES

Our youth team defeated Cappry Rovers on Saturday to win this season Dick Duffy Memorial Youth League. The game finished 4-1 with goals from Kieran McPherson(2), Dale Gorman and James Gillen. Well done to the players ,Manager Anthony and his backroom staff who went the league season undefeated.

This Saturdaythey will play Cappry Rovers again, this time in the Colin Breslin Cup Semi Final.The game is away from home with a 2pm kick off.

Three of our Letterkenny and District schoolboys teams have games this weekend. The Under 12’s host Swilly Rovers, the Under 14’s are away to Ballyare Diamonds, the Under 16 Crusaders have home advantage over Illistrin and this Friday Paul Browns Rovers Under 16 play Cappry Rovers at the Aura in the semi final first leg of the Champions League.

Reminder that Bingo takes place every Thursday night in the Station House Hotel commencing at 8.30pm.

The numbers drawn in this week’s lotto were 10, 15, 18 and 24. Hughie McBride (seller-Victor Fisher) and Brendan Delap(seller- Gerry Meehan) matched 3 numbers and won €40 each. Next weeks Jackpot is €1500.

Finally, congratulations to Paddy Diver, Ciaran Maloney and Kieran McPherson who have been selected to attend the Football Association of Ireland Under 15 squad and Emerging Talent National assessment day for players born in 1997 at the AUL Complex on Sunday March 11.
