DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 2012

MARY GILL, RIP

The death has taken place at the Nazereth House, Fahan of Mary Gill, late of Ballybrack, Moville. Removal from Murphy’s Funeral Home, Tooban, Burnfoot today, Sat, at 3pm going to St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack to repose. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Sun, at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Nazereth House Patients Comfort Fund – c/o any family member or Collins and McDermott Funeral Directors.

COLM LANGAN, RIP

The death has taken place in Highgate, North London of Colm Langan formerly from Stranarvara, Cloghan. His remains will arrive at Belfast International Airport today, Sat, at 11.30am travelling to his home in Stranarvara via Derry, Letterkenny and Meenaroy to arrive at 2.30pm. Funeral mass in St Colmcille’s Chapel, Fintown on Monday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

SEAMUS HOUSTAN, RIP

The death has taken place in the Donegal Hospice of Seamus Houstan, Cloghanbeg, Cloghan. His remains are reposing at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Glenfin. His remains will repose there until today (Sat) with Rosary at 9pm – Church will be open for viewing from 12 noon until after the Rosary. Burial after 11am Mass tomorrow, Sun, in Kilteevogue Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Donegal Hospice – c/o any family member.

CATHAL MCGEE, RIP

The death has taken place at his late residence of Cathal Mc Gee, Arduns, Gaoth Dobhair. Removal from his home tomorrow, Sun, at 12.30pm for Mass in St Mary’s Chapel, Derrybeg at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Maghergallon Cemetery. House private from midnight until 9am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal hospice c/o Steven O’Donnell & Sons Funeral Directors, or any family member.

MARGARET CANAVAN, RIP

The death has taken place at Nazareth House, Fahan of Margaret Canavan, late of Malin Road, Moville. Remains reposing at her daughter Mary McCauley’s residence at Drumaweir, Greencastle. Funeral from there tomorrow, Sun, at 12.30pm for Funeral Mass in St Pius the 10th Church, Moville at 1.15pm. Burial afterwards to St Mary’s Church, Bocan cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Nazareth House, Fahan or Collins and Mc Dermott Funeral Directors, Culdaff.

MICHAEL STEWART, RIP

The death has taken place as a result of an accident at his home in Jersey of Michael Stewart, late of Brewster’s Close, Derry and Quigley’s Point, County Donegal. Funeral from his home in Carrowkeel, Quigley’s Point on Monday at 9am, for 10am Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry, followed by interment in the City Cemetery.
