Termon GAA Notes: Week Ending 25/03/12
Minor Board:
Underage training continues this Friday evening 30th March in the Craoibhin centre in Termon.
6 – 7pm. U6 & U8 Boys & Girls Squads will train between
7 – 8pm U10 and U12 girls coaching will take place.
8 – 9pm U10 boys training will take place.
The club would like to thank the parents for their support with the late training times. The late starts will be for only 1-2 more weeks. Your support is greatly appreciated.
The club would like to thank all parents who have registered their child with the club, any parent wishing to do so can do it between 6-9pm this Friday at the Craoibhin, Termon. Any queries contact your childs coach or Eddie Harkin, minor board Chairman on 086 608 2512.
Ladies Board:
Congratulations to Geraldine McLaughlin who has won Donegal Ladies Player of the year 2011. Geraldine will be presented with her award at the Donegal GAA banquet on the 30th March at the Abbey Hotel.
The Junior ladies began their season this week in the Gaeltacht away to Kilcar. The girls put in a great performance but were beaten by a strong Kilcar side by a few scores. Both the senior and junior ladies begin their league season in the coming weeks. All players welcome.
Lotto:
The Lotto draw took place in place in Glenveagh Inn on Friday last. Next week’s draw takes place in the Lagoon, Martin Friel and Gerard Grant are the coordinators. The jackpot is now €2050.
Senior Men:
The Reserve and Senior teams get their league season underway this Saturday away to Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon at 5.00 and 6.30pm respectively. All support would be appreciated.
Membership
Annual Membership is now due for renewal. All players, managers and coaches must have membership to be involved with the club. Adult membership with lotto is €80 for adults and €60 for students. Anyone wishing to purchase a Club Donegal ticket which permits access to all men’s club games in the county free of charge can do so for €200 including your club membership. Poker Classic
Termon GAA will be hosting a Poker classic in the Lagoon, Termon on Thursday the 5th April 2012 starting at 8pm. Entry €20. For more info contact Joe on 086 406 0633.
Club Meeting
There will be a club meeting next Wednesday in the Craoibhin at 8.30pm. All members are encouraged to attend.
Congratulations
The club would like to congratulate Joe and Maria O Donnell on the birth of their baby girl Orlaith this week.
