A Donegal student has won a top award at UCD.
Nathaniel McHugh, a former pupil of Mulroy College in Milford, is a first year student studying Medecine.
Nathaniel is to be presented with a High Achievers Award this evening in recognition of his academic achievement accomplishment this evening at a ceremony in UCD.
UCD’s top tier of awards is through the UCD Ad Astra Academy which supports an exceptional group of high achieving and highly talented students.
Staff at Mulroy College are very proud of Nathaniel’s achievement and wish him every success in his future studies and his future career.
The Principal, Ms Fiona Temple stated: “Although I was not in the college during Nathaniel’s time, I have heard from many staff members of Nathaniel’s dedication and great work ethic.
“I am delighted for him that he is receiving this award in recognition of his hard work and achievement to date. As a school we are very proud of him and have no doubt he will continue to succeed throughout his studies in UCD.”
