Gaeil Fhánada will hold their Scrap Saturday this coming Saturday 14th April. There will be a collection point in Portsalon at the football ground and also in The Fanad Lodge carpark for anyone who wishes to offload small amounts of metal. Anyone with larger items for collection please contact Fiona Shiels @ 074 9159670 or any other committee member to arrange times etc.
Gaeil Fhánada Bord na nÓg and Ladies Board held a very successful sponsored walk on Good Friday from Kerrykeel to Rossnakill. A very big ‘Thank You’ to all those who walked, to all those who sponsored the walkers, to the Gardaí who escorted the walkers, to Kevin and McDaid’s for their sponsorship, to J. Loughrey Signs for the signs, to Tirconnaill Tribune for the photo’s, to Rossnakill Hall committee for the use of the hall, to Liam Anthony and Enda for their help and to the tea ladies who provided a very welcome cup of tea at the end of the walk. It would be appreciated if any sponsorship cards not already returned could be returned to Martin McAteer or Bridie Doherty as soon as possible.
