IT’S been a part of the way of life in Rathmullan for years.
And now the famous ice cream shop in the seaside town has had a makeover – and more!
Once owned by the Gallen family, the ‘Litl Belles & Shells’ shop overlooking Lough Swilly has been pulling in new customers over the bank holiday weekend with its new decor and scrummy ice cream.
It is now owned by the good people who run the town’s equally famous ‘Salt ‘N’ Batter’ fish and chip shop and restaurant.
And it is now serving superb roasted coffee and a range of other treats for locals and visitors alike this summer.
If you get fed-up building sand castles, there’s always the pool tables inside.
