GAA NEWS: KILLYBEGS CLUB NOTES

The Killotto had no winner this week. The numbers were 5, 11, 21 and 28. There was one winner of match 3. Shane Molloy, Stragar, Killybegs. Next week’s Killotto jackpot is €4,400 and Match 3 is €60. The team selling Killotto this week is Ladies A team. Next week sellers are Rita Nolan, Pauric Conaghan, Peter McGinley and Anthony O’Hara. You can now do the Killotto online. There was no winner of the Bingo Jackpot. Consolation prizes went to Nora Kennedy, Kilcar. Next week’s Jackpot will be €1,500 on 47 calls.

Killybegs seniors and reserves had good wins against Fanad in the league last weekend in Fanad. Results: Seniors 1-12 Fanad 1-10; Reserves 2-15 Fanad 0-04

Anyone looking for tickets for the Ulster final should put their name down in book in the Tara Hotel front desk.

The ladies took part in the Darren McGinley Memorial Tournament that was held in Glen last Saturday. They had a successful day out winning the Darren McGinley Memorial Shield and afterwards were also presented with medals. The ladies who took part were: Niamh Gatins, Emer Mc Guinness, Donna McBrearty, Shauna Smith, Marie Dawn White, Rachel Cunningham, Clare Breslin, Sharon White, Mairead Gallagher and Michelle MaGuire. The Ladies team would like to thank the Naomh Columba club for their hospitality on the day.

The club would like to congratulate Odhran McGuinness, who represented the club at the Donegal Creameries Skills competition, in which he came in an impressive 12th overall.

FIXTURES – Wednesday 4th – Minor League St. John’s V Kilcar in Dunkineely @ 7.30pm, U14 Championship Killybegs V Naomh Naille in Fintra @ 7.30pm,

Thursday 5th – U12 League Divisional Semi-Final – Killybegs A & B V Dungloe A & B @ 6.30pm & 7.15 – Venue: TBC

RACE NIGHT – Bord Na nOg Race Night takes place in the Tara Hotel, Killybegs on Friday 13/7/2012 @ 9.30pm, as well as the races there will be some super spot prizes, always a great night’s fun!!! C U there…!!!
