GAA: FANAD GAELS 0-10, MALIN 1-09

REPORT FROM MALIN GAA: Malin recorded their second league win over Fanad Gaels this year with a 1-09 to 0-10 away win this evening.

Malin, with the breeze at their backs, had the better of the first half and led by 1-07 to 0-02 at half time, the goal coming from Michael Byrne, Byrne’s goal proving the all important score as Malin held on in the second half to claim two more valuable points, Malin were Daniel Mullarkey, Mick Fildara, Damian Harkin, Gary Farren, Conor Farren, John McLaughlin(JM), John C Doherty, Michael Byrne(1-02), Paddy Kelly, Dan McDaid(0-1), Matthew Byrne(0-2), Anthony Kelly(0-2), Steven Fildara, Terence Doherty, Paul Fildara(0-2) sub used Adam Byrne.

The reserve side also did the double over Fanad this year winning by 1-06 to 0-06, scorers were Stephen Paddymor(1-0), Seamus Paddymor(0-3), Ryan Greene(0-2) and Daniel Mullarkey.
