GAA Bingo- Every Thursday Night At 9pm  In St Marys Hall Clonmany Everyone Welcome.

Match & Win for 26/07/2012 No jackpot winner last week this weeks jackpot will rise to €3,940.00 Numbers drawn were 4,13,16,17  €15 consolation prizes went to Susan McCarron Roxtown, Neil Doherty (JS) Letter, Phil Pat Doherty Cloontagh, Nial Casey Annagh, M.Devlin Straid.

 

URRIS GAA BIG BREAKFAST SATURDAY 11th AUGUST 2012, from 8.30am to 1.00pm in St Marys Hall Clonmany, Breakfast €5.00. Anyone who would like to donate breakfast items or baking for this event please contact John Friel at the hall or call on 0860523550 or David Hession 0860538537.

 

RESULTS:

The Seniors kept their good recent run going with a hard fought draw in Downings on Saturday evening. Downings is always a tough place to go and given the weather conditions on Saturday evening a draw was a very creditable result.

The Reserves also kept the run going and maintained the pressure on Naomh Columba who lead their division by two points from Urris and Aodh Ruadh.

Results: Downings Reserves 0 – 07   Urris Reserves  1 – 07,  Downings  3 – 06   Urris  2 – 09.

Next up will probably be Championship but this may depend on how Donegal do next weekend in their quarter final.

 

Under 14 Boys Northern Board Championship Result- Termon 6-14 Urris 11-1.

 

FIXTURES This Week:

The U12 boys play Malin in Straid on Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in the Inishowen 15-a-side competition.

 

Under 14 Boys Div 3 Semi Final: Moville v Urris 7.30pm Wednesday 1st August.

 

The Minor boys  play St Eunan’s in the quarter final of the Northern Board Championship; the first leg is in Straid on Wednesday, August 1st at 7.30pm, the second leg will be at St Eunan’s on Wednesday, August 15th also at 7.30pm.

 

The U16 girls will travel to Moville on Friday 3rd evening for their first match of the season – game throws in at 7.00pm. David will confirm travel arrangements etc at training.

 

 

Club Meeting – Next meeting is on Wednesday 22nd August at 9pm, all members old and new welcome.

Lucozade Club Challenge.

The club is registered for the Lucozade Club Challenge and is asking club members and supporters to collect the tops off Lucozade Sport and Lucozade Sport Lite bottles. The club which can collect the most bottle tops over the next few months has the chance to win up to €10,000. Tops can be given to any club committee member or left in at Straid on match or training days. For more information check out the Club Challenge website.
