The Junior B team played in the first round of the championship against McCumhaill’s on Sunday in Glenswilly and unfortunately suffered a 4 point defeat. The 2nd leg is scheduled for this weekend but will probably be deferred due to the All Ireland Semi-Final. Glenfinn defeated Termon in the semi-final of the Laurence McGinty Cup on Saturday while the 2nd semi-final between Glenswilly and Fanad Gaels is due to be played tonight (Tue) at 7.30.

The Under 16 team will play Downings in the Div 3 northern board final on Thursday evening at 6.45pm in Glenswilly, while the U15 team will play Buncrana in the championship on Friday evening in Glenswilly at 7pm.

On Sunday morning the club hosted a friendly match with a visiting team from St Colmcille Club, Co Meath. A very enjoyable game of football was played in a sporting manner. Many thanks to former player David Brodigan and Brian McHugh for organising this event, the U14’s are looking forward to the return visit.

A fundraising quiz in aid of the County Team training fund will take place in McClafferty’s Churchill on Friday night at 9pm sharp. Teams of 4 – €5 per team member. Tickets are also available for the draw in aid of the County team training fund – €5 each – book of 3 €10. Please support our county team.

The club would like to wish Michael, Neil, Gary and all the Donegal squad every success in the All Ireland Semi-Final on Sunday. Tickets for the Semi-Final will be distributed on Wednesday evening in the clubhouse from 8pm till 9pm.
