GAA NEWS: GLENSWILLY CLUB NOTES

Congratulations to the Donegal Senior Team and especially Glenswilly players Michael Murphy, Neil Gallagher and Gary McFadden on their wonderful success in reaching the All Ireland Final.

It will be a very busy and exciting few weeks now leading up to the final. Ticket orders are now being taken by club secretary Sharon McGinty. All orders in writing or by email only please. Email mcgintysharon@eircom.net. Priority will be given to club members – 1 ticket per member.

The final of the Laurence McGinty Cup will be held this evening Tue in Glenswilly at 7pm between Glenswilly and Glenfinn.

Congratulations to the U16 team who won the Div 3 championship on Monday evening with a good win over Downings. The U13 girls will travel to play McCumhaills on Wed at 6pm. The U13 boys will travel to Fanad on Friday evening while the U15’s have a home game against Letterkenny Gaels on Sunday at 12pm. The Senior and Reserve teams have an away match on Sunday against Four Masters at 1.30 and 3pm.

 

Louise, Karen and Mary would like to thank all the parents and volunteers who helped at the summercamp especially the teenagers, their help was greatly appreciated.
