A great evening saw a great crowd of 261 walkers and runners celebrated and remembered two great legends of the Naomh Mhuire club on Friday evening last in Frankie Pat Gallagher and Finbar McBride.

With excitement building towards the All Ireland Final there was talk of tickets even by athletes during the race but in the end Noel Diver from Gweedore charged to the front to head Kevin McGee from Dungloe. Fionnula Diver made it a double for the Diver family taking the womens race from another Gweedore women Noreen McGee.

Following the race a picture was unveiled in the clubhouse of both men by their families. Many thanks to all who supported and helped out on the evening.
