The Donegal Sports Star Committee have commenced preparations for the 37th annual awards ceremony which will take in the Mount Errigal Hotel on Friday, January 25th.

Once again 2012 has brought us a significant number of local, county, national and international sporting achievements.

And in order to give the event the respect it deserves the committee is appealing to sporting organizations, individuals and the general public to submit their nominations by close of business on Friday, November 23rd.

Nominations can be emailed to info@donegalsportsstarawards.ie or posted to Paul McDaid, Post Office, Ramelton.

The correspondence should include only a brief summary of the highlights of the nominee’s achievements in 2012 for adults and the academic year (September 2011 – June 2012) for primary and second school teams and individuals. All relevant pictorial and video footage should also accompany the nominations.
